Southern California Weather

Check out the Southern California weather before planning your beach vacation. You'll rarely be disappointed, as the summers are warm and sunny, while the winters are mostly sunny and cool but rarely cold. We're talking about the beach towns along the coast, from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

Inland Southern California does get uncomfortably hot in summer, but you can usually count on cool marine breezes by the coast. Mornings can be overcast, but usually it burns off around lunchtime, with mild breezes kicking in.
