Hotel Casa Del Mar
This is a beach front hotel. From the outside of Casa Del Mar Santa Monica, the building looks stately, with bricks and large oceanview windows. The inside is posh and luxurious as well.
Located right next to Shutters, the Casa Del Mar has a view of the historic Santa Monica Pier as well as the bike path and large expanse of sand that leads to the water.
In addition to one bedroom units, there are some two, three and four bedroom suites available with jacuzzis. The hotel is 8 stories tall. There is valet parking only.
Amenities and recreational facilities include a heated outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, an exercise room and a gift shop. You can also rent bikes to ride along the path that lines the back of the beach. The pool and jacuzzi are located on the 5th floor, on what is called the Palm Terrace.
"The Veranda", located at lobby level, offers views, light meals, cocktails and sometimes entertainment. "Catch" is the hotel's restaurant and sushi bar.

The Hotel California Santa Monica is a more affordable alternative to nearby Shutters or Casa del Mar. The Santa Monica Pier is within walking distance, just to the north and the beach is a block away.
It's a small motel type property with beach style and character. Five one bedroom suites are available, which is great for families. There is a small parking lot out front for a fee.
This Santa Monica hotel is also conveniently close to the Third Street Promenade and several restaurants. It's really a great location, central to so much. The Venice boardwalk is a short drive to the south. The Main Street shopping district is also a short hop away.

The Georgian is a historic boutique hotel in Santa Monica with an Art Deco style. It is very pet friendly and even offers a pet turn-down service! An evening reception is offered on Wednesdays. The Fairmont Miramar Hotel Santa Monica stands out from the rest, with it's towering building on a very large, gated lot filled with trees, flowers and waterfalls. Part of the hotel is ten stories high, with a six story wing. In addition, there are over 30 bungalows on the grounds, offering peaceful seclusion. They even have private patios. Up in the Ocean Tower, there are rooms with ocean views.
The fitness center includes a sun deck, saunas, steam rooms and a jacuzzi in addition to the outdoor pool. Several types of equipment and weight machines are in the exercise room. Spa services are available as well. A beauty salon and a barber shop will get you and yours ready for a night out on the town.

This is a beach front hotel. There are three buildings range from 3-7 stories high. A superb art collection adorns the walls of the hotel. Guests have a lot to enjoy besides the beach, such as a heated outdoor pool and sun deck. There's also a sauna, steam room, well equipped exercise room, gift shop and a jacuzzi. Full spa services are available.
The rooms have honor bars. Parking costs extra and is by valet only. The adjacent restaurant is "One Pico", where you can enjoy an ocean view. "Coast" is a new bar and cafe on the beach.
Additionally, there is the outdoor Pacific Deck next to the sand for outdoor catered special events. Two fireplaces stand by for extra ambiance.

The Travelodge Santa Monica Pico Boulevard is located well inland at Pico and 31st Street. It was renovated in 2010. Some of their units have kitchenettes. There are also four Jacuzzi suites available. There is a courtyard with picnic tables and a Barbeque.
This Santa Monica hotel has a business center for those who need to work on their vacation (ugh!). Free parking and convenient to the 10 freeway. Pet friendly. Several restaurants and fast food joints are close by.
