Basic Info

Tickets at Magic Mountain include unlimited rides, and most shows and attractions (a few attractions may charge a separate fee). Parking costs $15, but a season parking pass costs $50, so if you go more than 3 times in a year, it's worth it.

Best times to visit would be typical of most theme parks: summer weekdays, or winter weekends (non holiday).

Hours the park is open varies throughout the year, but generally, the park is closed winter weekdays and open 10:30-6:00, 8:00 or 9:00 on the weekends. Beginning the last week in March through August, the park opens on weekdays from 10:30-6:00. As the weather gets warmer it will be open till 8:00, and 10:00 on the weekends. Bottom line, you need to check the Magic Mountain website to find the exact current operating hours for the day you plan to visit.

Rides and Roller Coasters

Magic Mountain Valencia is 260 acres of thrills, including more than 100 rides, of which 16 are world class roller coasters.

You don't need to be a thrill seeking teen to enjoy Magic Mountain. Bugs Bunny World has many rides for the little kids. In addition to these, there are about 15 rides throughout other areas of the park that are family friendly.

Warning: You might want to watch this with the sound off, as the wind noise is really raspy. Also, don't watch right after eating!

Basic general admission for Magic Mountain Valencia is $59.99 for adults and $34.99 for kids under 48 inches. It's free for 2 and under. Sometimes there is an online special on the park's website where everyone pays the kid price, (usually in January).

A Thrill Pass costs the same as one day admission, but acts as a season pass.

Other various combinations are possible too, such as Hurricane Harbor (seasonal) plus Magic Mountain for discounted admission, or combine with a meal or parking.
