The Koffee Klatch Laguna BeachBest Coffee House In LagunaThe Koffee Klatch Laguna Beach is the perfect place if you're looking to spend an hour or so at a little cafe that is NOT Starbucks. It's a small, dark cozy place. Romantic even, but not so romantic that you can't hook up your laptop to the free wifi and get a little work done if you need to, but in the evenings, it's more of a social atmosphere. There are little glass tables with petite table lamps, sofas and cushy chairs to relax in, ceiling fans, a fireplace, sparkling decorative lights that aren't overbearing. The last time I was there, some 70's rock was playing on the stereo, like Led Zeppelin, BTO and Bob Seger. In the outdoor brick alcove are a few more tables and a sofa, tiny colored lights and a fountain. They also have wonderful coffee (even the decaf) and a huge, I mean HUGE tea selection. You can get your croissants or bagels toasted rather than nuked, and there are also some delicious looking pastries, cakes and tarts in the refrigerated cabinet. The Koffee Klatch is right on Pacific Coast Highway, between Mountain Road and Calliope Street. The address is 1440 South Coast Highway. Metered parking on the street.
