720 Pacific Coast Hwy
This hotel is located close to Huntington Beach Pier and across the street from the beach. This is a unique little hotel with 9 Southern California themed room designs. It has some celebrity status amongst pro surfers. It also received a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.
One of the big draws to Huntington Beach is its proximity to world class surfing, which is why it is often referred to as "Surf City".
There are a lot of budget motels in town, which tend to be appealing to nomadic surfers. There are also the resort style Hyatt and the Waterfront Beach Resort Hilton hotels, both across from the beach. In between are several mid range hotels which may be just what the average vacationing family is looking for.
Bear in mind that the "beach front" hotels are actually located across the street on Pacific Coast Highway, a very busy road, but it goes right along the beach. Parking at your hotel and walking to the beach is a huge plus, not to mention the ocean views.
Many of the other hotels in Huntington Beach are located along Beach Boulevard, a long stretch that runs from the 405 freeway all the way to the beach at Pacific Coast Highway.
