Cruises From San Diego

Port Of San Diego

There are cruises from San Diego that go up the California coast, to Alaska, down to Baja California, the Mexican Riviera,

Hawaii and beyond. Major San Diego cruises leave from the Port Of San Diego, conveniently right near downtown.

San Diego Bay won the award for best U.S. home port in the 2010 Travel Age West WAVE Awards.

The cruise ships dock at the B Street Pier Cruise Ship Terminal at 1140 North Harbor Drive. This is 5 miles from the San Diego Lindberg Airport.

Broadway Pier Cruise Ship Terminal San Diego

Broadway Pier San Diego

This December (2010), the new San Diego Port Pavilion opens on Broadway Pier, right next to the B Street Pier. This 52,000 square foot space will be used as an auxiliary cruise ship terminal and also for special events.

From here you can walk to shopping and dining downtown or at the harbor itself. But if you don't want to walk, or want to explore other parts of San Diego, such as Old Town, Balboa Park or other San Diego Tourist Attractions, it couldn't be easier. Pedi cabs, taxis, trolleys, buses and even the coastal train are available to serve you.
