Chart House Dana Point
The Chart House Dana Point is high on a hill above the east side of Dana Point Harbor. The views are fantastic. They serve dinner nightly, featuring seafood and fresh fish, steak and prime rib. Desserts are also a popular item there. There's a full bar. 
Price range is $40-$60. It's also a popular place for wedding receptions.The architecture of this restaurant is unusual, sort of 3 circular connected pods on the hillside, which make the most of it's location by maximizing the views for the diners. There is an outdoor patio with tables outside the bar. The Chart House address is 34442 Street of the Green Lantern. Call 949-493-1183. From the parking lot above, all you can see is the redwood entry tower. Once you enter, you descend a staircase into the restaurant. Valet parking is available, as well as street parking along Street of the Green Lantern. If you fancy a walk before or after dinner, there's a short blufftop path just to the right of the restaurant (if you're facing the harbor). Also, if you're really hardy, across the street there is a steep stairway up to Hilltop Park where a path veers off to the left at the top. Not for the feint hearted!
