Hotel Casa Del Mar

One of two oceanfront hotels in town is Casa Del Mar Santa Monica. From the outside, the building looks stately, with bricks and large oceanview windows. The inside is posh and luxurious as well.
Located right next to Shutters, the Casa Del Mar has a view of the historic Santa Monica Pier as well as the bike path and large expanse of sand that leads to the water.
In additon to one bedroom units, there are some two, three and four bedroom suites available with jacuzzis. The hotel is 8 stories tall. There is valet parking only.
Amenities and recreational facilities include a heated outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, an excercise room and a gift shop. You can also rent bikes to ride along the path that lines the back of the beach. The pool and jacuzzi are located on the 5th floor, on what is called the Palm Terrace.
"The Veranda", located at lobby level, offers views, light meals, cocktails and sometimes entertainment. "Catch" is the hotel's restaurant and sushi bar.
