The best thing about the Best Western Laguna Reef Inn, is that it is across the street from the Montage Resort, where you can access some incredibly beautiful beachfront at Aliso Beach. Also, the summer trolley has a stop very nearby, which can take you up the coast to the village of Laguna Beach, and up the canyon to the three Laguna art festivals.
This hotel is at the southern end of Laguna at 30806 Coast Highway. Their number is 949-499-2227.
There is a very nice pool setting and the landscaping is tropical and lush. However, the room we were in was dank and the air conditioner didn't work very well. Perhaps it has been fixed by now.
You can eat your complimentary breakfast out by the pool if you wish. There is also a jacuzzi and steam room.
