Other rides at Belmont Park San Diego include the Beach Blaster, Octotron, Vertical Plunge, Krazy Kars, Tilt-A-Whirl, Control Freak, Crazy Submarine, Thunder Boats, bumper cars and an old fashioned carousel. Other Attractions In the Wave House, people can enjoy riding real waves just like the ocean. While most oceanside pools, otherwise known as "plunges" have disappeared, Belmont Park's Plunge Pool, built in 1925 is still there to enjoy. It's heated to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, which is just perfect for playing (too warm for working out though). There's even a Bounce House and Slip N Slide on the deck, which is covered with artificial turf. Then there's the arcade, glow in the dark miniature golf, a lazer maze, a mirror maze, rope climbing and coconut tree climbing. And what amusement park would be complete without the midway games? Belmont Park has these too, where you can try and win various prizes like oversized plushes to carry around. Shows Concerts are occasionally held at the Wave House.
